丁乙，原名丁荣，1962年生于中国上海，并在上海生活和工作至今。如今，丁乙被认为是中国抽象派画家中的先驱者，他也是第1 个为世界顶级品牌爱玛仕设计丝巾的中国设计师。他的作品在各个展览和机构中广泛展出，例如：威尼斯双年展（1993），横滨三年展（2001），和广州双年展（2002）。

2006年开始与留德艺术家艾未未牵线，复旦视觉传达学院全体先生 赴德国参加07年第十二届卡塞尔文献展。
艺术风格
