汤志义（1971.11-）福建漳州云霄人，现为福建师范大学美术学院副教授，硕士生导师，漆艺创作与研讨 中心主任，中国漆画界的领军人物，当代漆画艺术的探索者和实践者。中国美术家协会会员，中国美术家协会漆画高研班主讲教师，地方 美术学院特聘漆艺交流专家，福建省第5 届百花文艺奖特等奖获得者。
2006年在上海刘海粟美术馆举行油画个展，在德国驻上海总领事馆举行漆画个展。
2008年4月，在上海新天地1 号会馆举办第二次漆画个展。
2008年5月获福建省人民政府第5 届百花文艺奖特等奖。
2008年12月漆画作品《香远》再次被中国美术馆收藏。
作品十多次入选中国美术家协会主办的全国性美术作品展览， 作品还被厦门美术馆、上海外滩中心、德国总领事馆、香港汉雅轩等专业机构收藏。
2010年漆画作品《沉默是金》被香港收藏夹以44.8万元拍得。
曾出版《汤志义油画作品选》、《时光—汤志义漆画作品集》数部专著。
作品及个人专题刊载于《人民日报》、《新华文摘》、《美术》、《美术观察》、地方 电视台、东方卫视、东森卫视、凤凰卫视、东南卫视等核心媒体及《盛世金领》杂志 。

 Tang Zhiyi (1971.11-) Yunxiao Ren, Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, is an associate professor, master's supervisor, director of the Lacquer Creation and Research Center of Fujian Normal University, a leading figure in the field of Chinese lacquer painting, and an explorer and practitioner of contemporary lacquer painting art. Member of China Artists Association, lecturer of Lacquer Painting Advanced Research Class of China Artists Association, specialist in lacquer art exchange of Central Academy of Fine Arts, winner of the Fifth Hundred Flowers Literature and Art Award of Fujian Province. In 2004, Lacquer Painting "Fishing Boat Drifting" won the highest award of the Chinese Art Government (Five Years First) - the 10th National Art Exhibition Gold Prize, and was collected by the Chinese Art Museum.

In 2006, a solo painting exhibition was held at Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum and a solo painting exhibition was held at the German Consulate General in Shanghai.

In April 2008, second lacquer painting exhibitions were held at Shanghai Xintiandi one hall.

In May 2008, he won the first prize of the Fifth Hundred Flowers Literature and Art Award of Fujian Provincial People's Government.

In December 2008, the lacquer painting Xiangyuan was once again collected by the Chinese Art Museum.

His works have been selected for more than ten national art exhibitions sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association. His works have also been collected by Xiamen Art Museum, Shanghai Bund Center, German Consulate General and Hanyahuan Hong Kong.

In 2010, the lacquer painting Silence is Gold was photographed by Hong Kong collectors for 448,000 yuan.

He has published several monographs such as Selected Works of Tang Zhiyi's Oil Paintings and Collection of Paintings of Time-Tang Zhiyi's Lacquer Paintings.

The works and personal topics are published in the core media of People's Daily, Xinhua Digest, Fine Arts, Fine Arts Observation, CCTV, Oriental Satellite TV, Dongsen Satellite TV, Phoenix Satellite TV, Southeast Satellite TV and Shengshi Golden Collar magazine.
