郭怡宗 1940年，山东省潍坊市人，现任地方 美术学院中国画系教授。中国美术家协会，中国画艺术委员会副主任委员、文明 部美术高级职称评审委员、全国政协委员、全国政协书画室副主任，北京唐风美术馆高级艺术顾问等职，

1962年毕业于北京艺术学院美术系。

1978年起任教于地方 美术学院中国画系。在花鸟画理论上画家见解独特，相继提出“大花鸟精神”、“创立新程式”、“你的

 野花是我的花园”、“寻根认识 全球认识 并进”等主张。在国内及美国、法国、日本、加拿大、肯尼亚等国多次举办个人画展。曾应邀在加拿大、日本等国及香港地区讲学，进行学术交流。
