乌密风女，工艺美术家，浙江杭州人，是已故著名油画家乌叔养的独生女，1 九四三年毕业于杭州国立艺专图案系，受业于林风眠、陈之佛、庞熏琴、雷圭元、邓白等前辈。1 九四四年任敦煌艺术研讨 所助理研讨 员。曾任鲁迅美术学院工艺美术系主任，副院长，染织专业教授，鲁美学术委员会委员、荣誉毕生 教授。
几十年来从事工艺美术教育。前后参加过北京人民大会堂辽宁厅、农业展览馆、北京火车站、中国美术馆等的装潢 设计工作。1990年退休。乌密风女士筹建鲁迅美术学院工艺美术系，开创装璜 、染织两个专业，曾掌管 举办辽绣训练班，1958年带领工艺美术系师生去北京参加十大建筑的部分装修及室内设计工作，获得好评。
出版有《敦煌藻井图案》、《花卉图案集》、《乌密风画集》、《乌密风水彩精品集》、《乌密风水彩画》等；次要 论文有《染织专业的基础与设计》、《敦煌图案的组织结构与纹样》等。她的花卉创作，结构严谨，色调含蓄，手法多样，富有生活情趣。1983年设计的大理石壁画《睡莲》、《百合》为北京人民大会堂辽宁厅采用。
1988年织物壁画《卧佛》获辽宁省工艺美术精品展1 等奖。水彩画《牡丹》获全国水彩画展银奖，《扁竹莲》、《向日葵》、《水仙》为中国美术馆等收藏。历任敦煌艺术研讨 所助理研讨 员，鲁迅美术学院教授、工艺美术系主任、副院长。鲁美学术委员会委员、荣誉毕生 教授，辽宁美术家协会顾问。任辽宁工艺美术家协会副理事长，辽宁美协常务理事。其女周永红，现任鲁迅美术学院染织服装艺术设计系教授。
