胡亚强，1961年生于江苏南京。1989年毕业于上海师范大学美术学院，留校任教至今，副教授。作品《透视》入选1999年第九届全国美术作品展，作品《百草园系列之七—疏影》入选2004年第十届全国美展油画展，后被广东美术馆收藏。作品《畅想米罗岛》入选第十届全国美展雕塑展，获优秀奖。
1989年《轮》油画入选《第七届全国美术作品展》。
