生于1955年，湖南衡阳人，中国美术家协会会员，衡阳市美术家协会副秘书长，曾就读于广州美术学院油画系，毕业于湖南师范大学美术学院。其作品以油画风景称著，长时间 以来，注重 感受和研讨 自然，融中西油画技法于1 体，构成 了独特的艺术风格。
代表作品有《故土》、《大壑晓雪》、《日出东方》、《家园》、《立秋》、《立冬》等。多次参加国内重要展览并获奖。
