彭才年，上海人。毕业于哈尔滨师范大学美术系油画专业，中国美术家协会会员，现任上海商学院艺术设计学院院长，教授。作品多次参加国内外展览并获奖，有多幅作品被国内外机构和私人收藏。2007年策划“多元并存——中韩当代艺术交流展”，2009策划“交流与瞻望 ——上海商学院教师作品展”。2012年赴法国巴黎国际艺术城吕霞光工作室研修。
