张法根，1930年生。别名 张合。浙江宁海人。擅油画。1950年学习于地方 美术学院华东分院，1958年毕业于浙江美术学院。历任安徽文学美术编辑，省美协创作员，安徽省文艺创作研讨 室美术组副组长，中国美术家协会安徽分会副主席，上海师范大学艺术系主任、教授。现为旅美画家。
次要 作品有《淮海大捷》(合作)、《严凤英肖像》、《希望》等。第5 届全国美展（1980年）、法国沙龙国际美术作品展览。
