罗文勇，出生于广东连州。1974年出生，98年毕业于广州美术学院。现为中国美术学会会员，99年作品《时钟1 号》入选第九届全国美展，2000年作品风筝》入选首届广东省美油大展，2000年在香港举办“油画个人展”，2001年作品《山》入选全国50周年作品展，2001年作品《凝》入选中国油画大展，近年来数幅作品被台湾、香港、新加坡、美国等地美术机构及私人收藏，此作《梦》发表于2002年第5 期《美术界》，并参加广东省首届油画展。
