1961年9月生于兖州，1984年毕业于山东艺术学院。1999年8月结业于文明 部重彩高级研讨 班。2001年2004年受聘于清华大学美术学院讲学。
2006年9月至2007年2月被中国美术家协会选派到法国巴黎吕霞光工作室做访问学者
2012年起受聘于中国传媒大学文学院艺术创作院
