莫伯华(1934.11—)湖南安化人。擅长中国画、水彩画、美术教育。1955年华中师范学院美术系毕业。曾任黄冈师范学院美术系主任、教授、中国美术、教育研讨 会理事暨高师专业委员会副主任。作品《归途》1971年入选全国中国画展览；《洪湖岸边》1984年评为全国第六届美展优秀作品，并获全国第三届年画评奖三等奖，《迎春接福》1989年获全国第四届年画展三等奖；同年入选全国第七届美展；《爱》1993年获全国5 届画展二等奖。1994年掌管 制定《全国高师专科美术专业教育专业学科课程方案》。
擅长中国画、水彩画。
前后 在人民、上海、天津、湖北、湖南、广西等美术出版社及《人民日报》、《人民日报（海外版）》、《美术》等报刊、杂志出版和发表作品数百件。
作品《归途》（1971年）、《洪湖岸边》（1984年）、《迎春接福》（1988年）、《爱》（2003年）、等前后 参加全国美展，其中两件作品获银奖、1 件作品获铜奖。《农家》、《锦鸡》、《白玉兰》、《紫玉兰》等作品前后 在美国、澳大利亚、菲利宾、芬兰、台湾展出，
其中3幅被收藏。
花鸟画《雅韵天成》入选中国美术家协会员2005年中国画精品展。

1999年主编的《全国高校美术教育专业教师作品集》由山东美术出版社出版。
出版专著和画册有《学院色彩教学范本——水彩风景》、《美术家莫伯华》、《素描》、《盆景的情势 美与外型 实例》等四部。
