吴良镛，城市规划及建筑学家，教育家，2011年度国家最高科学技术奖获得者，南京大学著名校友。1944年毕业于重庆地方 大学。长时间 努力 于中国城市规划设计、建筑设计、园林景观规划设计的教学、科学研讨 与实践工作。教学上重视 理论联系实际，倡导建筑与城市规划相结合。为北京、桂林、三亚、深圳等城市的规划，特别是旧城区改造整治规划设计工作做出重要贡献。专著《广义建筑学》对建筑学与社会学、经济学等多学科的综合研讨 进行了重要的理论探索。
谦谦风度的吴良镛，似乎文人的气质、艺术家的气质更浓于建筑师的气质。吴先生自小就喜欢绘画。特别是他进入重庆地方 大学建筑系就读时，徐悲鸿、傅抱石、吴作人等著名绘画大师都在该校的艺术系执教。吴先生有幸聆听他们的演讲，欣赏他们的画展，观看他们的教学，深受其艺术陶冶 。毕业后的那几年，他又徒步行走于重庆、贵州、云南1 带，边走边画，曾有很多优秀的画作问世。吴先生告诉笔者，迄今为止，他已举办过7次画展，第1 次举办画展是在1949年，比来 的1 次适逢他80岁生日。他也不无遗憾地说，后来由于和平 和 各种运动或别的缘由 ，很多珍贵的画作都丢失了。1990年，吴良镛先生被美国建筑师协会提名为该会荣誉资深会员，并被誉为“新中国的建筑与城市规划先驱者之1 ，杰出的建筑教育家，著名的水彩画家，多产作家。”
