1955年01月22日生于江苏南京。

 1982年07月毕业于南京艺术学院美术系油画专业，获学士学位并留校任教。

1985年05月油画作品《冬训》获“前进中的中国青年美术作品展览”鼓励奖。

1987年07月获油画艺术硕士学位。

l99l年01月作为访问学者赴东京考察研讨 。

1991年04月在东京涉谷举办首次个人油画展。

1991年06月油画作品《佤山的女人们》获日本东京“第二十七届亚细亚古代 美术作品展览”努力奖。

1992年06月在东京日本桥举办第二次个人油画展。

1995年08月油画作品《钟山初夏》入选“中国风景油画展”。

1996年10月油画作品《皖南农舍》入选“第1 届中国油画学会展”。

1998年10月油画作品《百年中华》获首届江苏省美术节特别优秀奖。

 陈世宁1982年毕业于南京艺术学院美术学院并留校任教。1987年获南京艺术学院油画艺术研讨 专业硕士学位，2005年获美术学博士学位。1991年1月至1992年7月作为访问学者和日本国武藏野美术大学外国人研讨 员赴东京考察；2004年7月至2004年10月作为高访学者赴奥地利、法国、德国、意大利等国考察研讨 。1998年起任南京艺术学院美术学院院长；2000年晋升为教授；2001年出席中国文学艺术联合会第七次全国代表大会；2002被评为江苏省有突出贡献的中青年专家；2004年被推举为中国文联德艺双馨全国代表大会代表；现为南京艺术学院副院长，中国美术家协会会员，江苏省文联委员，江苏省油画学会秘书长。1982年作品获全国宣扬 画展览二等奖；1985年油画《冬训》获全国青年美展鼓励奖；1991年油画《佤山的女人们》获东京第二十七届亚细亚古代 美展努力奖；1997年油画作品《皖南农舍》入选首届中国油画学会会员作品展；1999年油画作品《警花》获江苏省油画大展特别优秀奖；1999年油画作品《百年历程》获首届江苏省美术节学术贡献奖；2001年油画《刑场上的婚礼》获全国建党八十周年美展优秀作品奖（最高奖）；2001年油画《童年奥运梦》获第5 届全国体育美展1 等奖，并作为国家礼品由国家体育总局局长、中国奥委会主席、2008年北京奥运会履行 主席刘鹏于2005年6月5日在北京亲自赠予国际奥委会主席罗格先生；2004年油画《天籁》入选第十届全国美展，宣扬 画（合作）获第十届全国美展优秀作品奖，漆画《众志成城 》合作）获第十届全国美展银奖。2005年主编学术专着《东方 美术通论》，由南京大学出版社出版。

 Chen Shining. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing Academy of Art in 1982 and remained in school to teach. He received a master's degree in oil painting art in 1987 and a doctor's degree in Fine Arts in 2005. The course "Oil Painting Techniques" hosted in 2008 was rated as a national top-quality course, and the painting specialty hosted in 2008 was rated as a national characteristic specialty construction point. He is Vice President, Professor, Doctoral Tutor, Director of China Artists Association, Director of China Oil Painting Society, Member of Jiangsu Wenlian, Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Artists Association, Director of Oil Painting Art Committee, Director of Jiangsu Popular Science Artists Association and Executive Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Oil Painting Society.

Chen Shining graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Nanjing Academy of Art in 1982 and remained as a teacher. In 1987, he received a master's degree in oil painting art research from Nanjing Academy of Art, and a doctor's degree in Fine Arts in 2005. From January 1991 to July 1992, he visited Tokyo as a visiting scholar and a researcher of foreigners from Japan's Wuzangye University of Fine Arts; from July 2004 to October 2004, he visited Austria, France, Germany and Italy as visiting scholar. Since 1998, he has been president of the Academy of Fine Arts of Nanjing Academy of Art; promoted to Professor in 2000; attended the 7th National Congress of the Chinese Literature and Art Federation in 2001; was appraised as an outstanding young and middle-aged expert in Jiangsu Province in 2002; was elected as a representative of the National Congress of the Chinese Literature and Art Federation of Germany and Shuangxin in 2004; and is now a representative of Nanjing Academy of Art Vice President, Member of China Artists Association, Member of Jiangsu Provincial Literature Federation, Secretary-General of Jiangsu Oil Painting Society. In 1982, his works won the second prize of the national propaganda painting exhibition; in 1985, his oil painting Winter Training won the encouragement prize of the National Youth Art exhibition; in 1991, his oil painting Washan Woman won the effort prize of the 27th Asian Modern Art Exhibition in Tokyo; in 1997, his oil painting "Southern Anhui Farm House" was selected as the first member works exhibition of the Chinese Oil Painting Society; and in 1999, his oil painting was selected as the first member works exhibition. The work "Police Flowers" won the special excellent award of Jiangsu Oil Painting Exhibition; the first Jiangsu Art Festival academic contribution award in 1999; the oil painting "Wedding on the Criminal Court" in 2001 won the National Art Exhibition Excellent Works Award for the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Party (the highest award); and the oil painting "Childhood Olympic Dream" in 2001 won the 5th National Congress. The first prize of Sports Art Exhibition was presented to Mr. Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee, by Liu Peng, Director-General of the State Administration of Sports, Chairman of the Chinese Olympic Committee and Executive Chairman of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, on June 5, 2005 in Beijing. The oil painting "Tianpi" was selected as the 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004, and the propaganda picture (cooperation) won the 10th. The National Art Exhibition Excellent Works Award, Lacquer Painting "All in One" Cooperation) won the 10th National Art Exhibition Silver Award. In 2005, he edited the academic monograph General Introduction to Western Fine Arts, which was published by Nanjing University Press.
