马建初（1952.9-）四川万源人。现为重庆社会大学美术系副教授。重庆工商大学设计艺术学院渝北分院副院长。擅长油画，丙烯画。其作品参加“第十二届新人新作展”“第九届全国美展”“全国第5 届水彩，粉画展”。获美国“20世纪全球出色 艺术家领域成就画展”福斯特银奖。出有《马建初油画精品集》。
